Here's everything that's been published on Metabomb so far: Now that the Witchwood era is officially under way, we're able to bring you loads of deck lists that have been cooked up by the community. You also get a new passive Hero Power called Bewitch, which adds a random Shaman spell to your hand whenever you play a minion. When played for eight Mana, Hagatha deals three damage to every active minion (including your own), and gives your hero five points of Armour. This is the first hero card to be released since last summer's Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion, and only the Shaman gets a piece of the action this time around. Perhaps most interesting of all is the Shaman's new Legendary, Hagatha the Witch. Each hero is also getting two Legendary cards to play around with - the standard distribution these days. In total there are 135 new cards being added to the game with the release of The Witchwood.Įach of the game's nine heroes are getting their own exclusive cards as always, with the remainder distributed into the Neutral pool of cards.

The latest set - The Witchwood - is themed around the haunted woods located around Warcraft's Gilneas region, and is packed full of the kind of spooky creatures you'd imagine from such a setting. You can preorder a package that comes with 70 The Witchwood packs and a special card back for $49.99.Some five years after the game was first revealed, Hearthstone is now enjoying its eighth expansion overall. Mid-range Hunter is also becoming more popular, and it’s another deck that doesn’t feature many one-cost cards. While some decks could benefit from Toxmonger, Spell Hunter is the most common deck played in the class at the moment, and that deck doesn’t play many one drops. Aggro Hunter could also benefit from using Toxmonger to help take down Taunt minions. Quest Hunter isn’t a powerful deck right now, but Toxmonger would fit nicely into that. There’s some potential in this card, but it doesn’t seem strong enough to be played in Hunter decks. Some cards, like Stonetusk Boar, would have good synergy with Toxmonger. This ability can be strong if you use cheap minions to trade into your opponent’s large minions. While you have Toxmonger in play, whenever you play a one-cost minion, it gains Poisonous. Toxmonger is a four-mana minion with two attack and four health.
